A very good start for the Galileo constellation

oct25

The first two operational satellites in the Galileo constellation launched by the first Soyuz rocket lifting off from the new launch complex at Europe's Spaceport in French Guiana at 07:30 local time (12:30 CEST ; 10:30 GMT) on 21 October 2011 are now on their circular medium-Earth orbit. They are functioning well. No doubt, this is a true success for European Space.
