Summer School

13th Summer School will take place from 1 to 27 July 2012 in the French Air Force Academy of Salon-de-Provence (France).

Call for applications has been published on 27 February 2012.

For information Alumni Gathering will take place on 23 and 24 July 2012 in Salon-de-Provence and will include a visit of Dassault and CEV Sistres as well as a guided tour of the City of Salon-de-Provence (see programme).

Subscription forms will be soon addressed to CVA network and made available on CVA'website.

About

The CVA Summer School is an annual programme designed for around 40 university students and young engineers from space industry.

2012 item will focus on European Space Transportation, including a project'team on "human space flights; current, close and far future missions".

Professional visit of Guiana Space Center (CSG) in Kourou

At the end of each CVA Summer School, once a year CVA organise a Kourou trip for CVA alumnis (persons who have participated to CVA programmes) and give them the opportunity to visit the Guiana Space Centre, meet managers and staff in situ to learn about European cooperation in Space and also discover in a intercultural atmosphere the features and beauty of Guiana'region.

Next Professional visit of CSG is planned in 2013 (Jan./Feb. dates to be confirmed)
